I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. Through all of life’s ups and downs, art gave me an outlet to express myself. It was also the only area I excelled in growing up.

After I was laid off in 2009 when the market crashed, I decided to go back to school for Graphic Design, excelling in one of the most competitive Graphic Design programs in Oregon. I graduated in 2012 and set off to jump into my new career. I’ve been the Director of Graphic Design at a printing company ever since, overseeing a team, managing graphics from multiple departments, building in house material and managing all press work.

I fell in love with design, but for a long time, I struggled. I felt like I was supposed to fit into an industry mold that I just simply wasn’t and I was afraid to show my own artwork.

So, I made a goal to draw every day for a minimum of 30 minutes, and in doing that, I have ignited my creativity and have evolved so much as an artist. I love line work and funny/dark illustrations. I love the process and seeing how an idea can blossom into something beautiful. I am a collaborator and thrive on a diverse team where everyone has something unique to bring to the drawing board. At this point in my life, I am incredibly eager and excited to learn and grow in any way I can.
